Despite Of Being Single Mom and Because Of Her Hard Work Her Son Completed Medical Course And He is Now A Doctor

The life of a single parent can be a very tough job. You have to be a good role model to be both mother and father.

The financial help that is needed may or may not always be there, like child support. All of the responsibilities of the household lie on your shoulders.

Being both mother and father can be strenuous at times. All of the discipline lands on one person. The parent doesn't have anyone to back them up in the discipline of the children, or to help enforce the rules.

All of these responsibilities turn out into dream come true for her son. An inspiring story from a single mom named Nanita Ronquillo, 55 years of age, fish vendor and a Super Mom.

She decided to leave her husband after when she knew that she was being cheated from then she did not ask any help from her ex-husband.

She did all the hardworking and sacrifices just to send her son in to medical school because her son ever since his dream is to become a doctor.

Her son’s dream is her motivation to work even harder, and even though she is fish vendor and earning P1,000 a day.

Her routine everyday she is waking up early as 5 am and selling fish until 12 noon. Whenever there is still fish left, she will come back in the market to sell again by 5pm up to 6pm.

This kind of job is not easy, working in the market is smelly job and there is a lot of competitors , so she needs to exert more effort just to earn but there are times that she cannot even sell as much as needed to support her son financially in school.

That is why John spends 6yrs in medical school instead of 4yrs only. His super mom did not quit and she continues supporting her son just to finish his medical course.

Nanita said to John: “Whatever happens, both of us can work it out together. Whatever dream you have, you can achieve it”.

Finally, the sacrifices paid off John graduated from medical school. Both of them worked hard for it and it took a lot of determination just to turn their dream into reality. John is working now and he promises to his mom that he will be the best doctor that he can be. He is also looking for treatment for his mother’s heart disease. He also make it up to his mom that he will give the life what his mom deserves and this the best time to paying back from all the sacrifices of his mom.

Even though single parenting can be difficult, the rewards are far greater. We salute all the single parents! Be strong for all challenges in life and do not ever quit because your children someday they will be succeed and that is all because of YOU!
