Step By Step Tutorial On Setting Up Passport Application Online in the Philippines

Are you planning to get new passport or renew your old one? You should know the new rules on getting appointment before going directly in main or any other Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)

branches.

Unlike before, you can go directly in the DFA without any appointment now it should be done first through online. A confirmed appointment is a requirement for applying new and renewal of passport.

In connection with that, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in partners with the Pilipinas Teleserv a call center agency where you can also apply PSA/NSO certificate online created an online appointment system.

Starting June 17, 2016, the new updated DFA appointment system is now handle by APO Productions this was updated.

Note: Applicants without valid appointments will not entertain by DFA excluding senior citizens, infants and minors below 1 year old, person with disability and OFWs. For OFWs, sufficient proof must be submitted such as a valid employment contract or OEC.


How to Set an Appointment for your Passport Application Online

Select your preferred DFA branch to set an appointment and follow these simple tutorials.

Step 1. Go to https://www.passport.gov.ph/appointment, accept the Terms and Conditions by ticking the checkbox then select whether you want to set an appointment as a group or individual.Passport Appointment system

Step 2. Read the reminder in the popup window then click OK to proceed.Passport Online appointment system

Step 3. You will be redirected to the first step of appointment where you need to select the site location of DFA office that you will visit for processing your application. On the current system, you will select three fields (Region, Country and Site) The new appointment system is being offered for selected Regional Consular Offices in the Philippines, DFA Manila (Aseana) and Satellite Offices within Metro Manila (Ali Mall, SM Manila, SM Megamall and Alabang Town Center).Passport Appointment - Site Location

Step 4. Next step is the Date and time, select the date and time that is most convenient to you, make sure that you will come on the appointment date that you selected.Passport Application - Date and Time

Step 7. In the Application information page, you will select whether you are new applicant or for renewal.Passport Appointment - Application information

Step 9. Review all the entries, make sure all the information you enter are correct, if it is all set and correct hit the confirm button at the bottom.Confirmed passport Appointment

Step 10. After confirming your appointment, you will received a confirmation email from DFA Appointment System.Passport appointment confirmation email

Step 11. Open the email and click the link to confirm the appointment.Confirmed passport appointment

Step 13. Now, to view and print your appointment, enter the application code and the email address that you use when setting the appointment and click “View Details”

Step 14. You can now download and print the application form filled out with all your information. Make sure that you have PDF reader installed in your computer.Passport Appointment - Download Form

Don’t forget to observe the proper dress code and guidelines on Photo Capturing. Also, you should bring the printed application form to DFA branch you choose on the date and time you choose.

Latest Passport Fees 2018
Regular Processing: Php 950.00 (12 working days)
Rush Processing: Php 1,200.00 (6 working days Metro Manila Area, 7 working days outside Metro Manila)
An additional fee of Php 200.00 will be charged for processing of Lost Passports if it is still valid.
An additional fee of Php 150.00 for delivery if you want to deliver your Passport.

How to get a Passport in Regional Offices

If you are in a province you can apply in the DFA Regional Offices near in your place. You can also bring these requirements with you in order to make your passport application easier and faster.

Duly accomplished application form
PSA Authenticated Birth Certificate (original and photocopy)
PSA Marriage Certificate (for females who want to use a married surname)
1 Valid Government Issued ID (original and photocopy)

Old Passport (original and photocopy of pages 1,2,3 and amendment page)
